We are the fruit & veg box delivery that fights food waste.
Oddbox began as a seedling in a market in Portugal. Our founders, Emilie and Deepak, were browsing the fresh, beautiful, sometimes funny-looking fruit & veg on offer and wondered why they only ever saw identical, aesthetically pleasing produce in UK supermarkets.
They did some digging and learned that up to 40% of all produce in the UK is wasted before it leaves farms. Why? Because it doesn’t look “right” or because too much was grown.
These days we work closely with farmers across the UK and abroad, rescuing the oddly-shaped, oddly-sized or surplus fresh, seasonal fruit & veg and delivering thousands of boxes to customers every week.
Alongside our community, we help make a difference to the planet each week - fighting food waste, preventing CO2e and saving water along the way. In addition to this, we donate up to 2% of our produce to our good friends at FareShare, who work to fight food poverty in the UK, redistributing food to those who need it most.
