Why are prices increasing?
In short: because rescuing and delivering fruit and veg costs more than it used to. In recent months, we’ve seen costs go up in every area of our supply chain, from delivery to packaging to storage. And while we’ve absorbed these costs ourselves for over two years, we now need to tweak our box prices to balance things out. Raising our prices slightly will allow us to carry on paying growers fairly, as well as expanding our waste-fighting mission in exciting new ways (watch this space…).
When does the new pricing start?
Our updated box prices kick in from 5th May 2026 for new customers and customers reactivating their subscription.
To show our appreciation and say thank you to our community, box prices are fixed for current Oddboxers until 1st June 2026
Just so you know – if you switch boxes or leave then rejoin Oddbox in those four weeks, you’ll automatically pay the new prices.
How did you decide on the new box prices?
Our new prices reflect everything that goes into rescuing and delivering our boxes: from transportation to packaging and beyond. Paying growers fairly and fighting waste have always been our priorities – our new prices mean we can continue doing this, while also investing in the people and resources that will allow our mission to grow.
Is the delivery fee changing?
No, the £1.99 delivery fee for fruit and veg boxes is staying the same. You can also still get Market orders over £20 delivered for free alongside your regular Oddbox, too.
I have a discount on my account – will that still apply?
Yes – any percentage-based discounts you have will still be applied to your box once the price changes come into effect.
Why is my Large Fruit and Veg Box the same price as before?
As our biggest box, our Large Fruit and Veg Box gives us a bit more wiggle room for absorbing fixed costs, like delivery, across our supply chain. We also want to make sure that upgrading to a large box feels like great value for money – just like bulk-buy savings you might see in other places. Which is why we’re keeping the price the same while other boxes increase.
